SmartDOG database services do not work in a mobile browser. We recommend using the service on a computer to ensure the best user experience and full functionality.

Instructions on how to use the database:

Welcome to the smartDOG database services! The services can be divided into two parts: the smartDOG database, where every owner who has tested their dog can log in (included in the price of the test), and the BreCo database, which can be accessed by paying a 6-month licence fee (32€).

Both can be accessed via the Login link, and for those who have paid for a BreCo licence, BreCo functions are also active. 

smartDOG database - to view your dog's smartDOG test results

  • Login, new client: if you are a new client (no previous tested dog), you will have received a one-time password when the report was sent, which you will need to change after the first login (for security reasons). Please enter the one-time password you received in your email, and then choose a new password.
  • Login, old client: if you have already tested your dog before, you can login using your previous username, and click on Forgot password to change the password to the new database.
  • My dogs: Here you can find your dog’s results and compare your dog’s result with the breed average, as well as with the average of all breeds. Select one of your tested dogs from the my dogs menu and then select the test report immediately below the dog selection. You can then click on the results you want in the left panel and the graph will open in a box. The info button will give you more information about the features tested. Note! The pdf reports of dogs tested before the database change will not be found in the database. If you have lost the report you have received, you can ask the tester for it again.
  • Public dogs: you can also view the test results of dogs whose owner has marked the result as public. You can select a breed and browse the dogs tested there, or you can search directly for a specific dog (by its official kennel name).

BreCo database (32€ for 6 months license)

  • In the Breco database you can see the BreCo breed comparison and the BreCo Top5 breeds.
  • In the BreCo breed comparison you can compare any breed from the different test areas, as long as at least 10 dogs of that particular breed have been tested. You can choose to compare all dogs, or only adults, or only puppies (PENTU test). You can check the number of tested dogs/ breed here.
  • The BreCo Top5 and Bottom5 list includes breeds that have been tested with at least 20 adult dogs, i.e. only adult dogs are included. Here you can see, for example, the most independent breeds, or the breeds that ask for the most help, or the fastest and slowest V-fence solvers.
