My name is Nadia Romano Prandi, and I am Swiss living in Italy, Camaiore. With a strong foundation in K9 training, I hold a certification as a K9 trainer recognized by the Lazio Region and an operational handler certification in Switzerland for explosive detection. My expertise extends to the physiology of emotions and specialized search techniques, including human remains and blood trace detection. I have collaborated with leading professionals, such as Ilkka Hormila, a former Finnish investigative police officer, and Dr. Lorna Dennison-Wilkins, a criminologist specializing in water recoveries. My work integrates multiple scientific disciplines, from botany to criminology, ensuring a comprehensive approach to search operations. Currently, I am training my Polish spaniel, Ambra, in ID-tracking under Ilkka Hormila. Since 2024, I have been a member of the certification board for FCC, overseeing the European certification of K9 teams. I have also a labrador and two Italian Shepherds at home.
My approach to working with dogs is rooted in observation, empathy, and trust, continuously striving to expand my knowledge and refine my skills.
I speak Italian, French, German and English, and I am happy to conduct smartDOG tests in Italy, but also in Switzerland. Don’t hesitate to contact me: tretreseisei@gmail.com.
